In September 2023, Brasserie 8622 opened its doors in newly renovated premises in the center of Mo i Rana. The menu is inspired by French cuisine and crafted from the finest ingredients Northern Norway has to offer. We are the place for special occasions, for those who appreciate great flavors and local produce, and for everyone who enjoys a cozy atmosphere.

*On weekends, we stay open a bit longer for those who wish to linger after dinner or just drop by for some snacks and a drink.

About Us
Meet the International Team at Brasserie 8622
Brasserie 8622 is an international concept consisting of highly qualified and very experienced personnel from around the world. Our Head Chef, Andre Mårtensson-Larsson, has a passion for seasonal ingredients and local producers, and has spent the last 12 years working at renowned restaurants in England, Sweden, and Portugal.
Our Restaurant Manager, Leonor, has led multiple teams and restaurants in both Sweden and Portugal in recent years, including the Bib Gourmand restaurant "Restaurante Saraiva" in Lisbon. In addition to Leonor and Andre, our team includes Knut, in charge of events and rentals, Darius, our Assistant Head Chef, Petter, chef, and our waitstaff, Kimberly and Sebastian.
The Founders
In 2016, Elise and Marius moved to Utskarpen, 25 minutes outside Mo i Rana. In Elise's hometown, the couple bought a barn, which today is one of the most renowned restaurants (with its own accommodation) in the region. With a desire to further develop both the industry and the dining offerings in the Helgeland region, they decided in 2022 to establish their own place in Mo. Together with Skagstindgruppen - an established hospitality group (and former colleagues) from Oslo - they partnered with the real estate company Ranheim to take over the premises in the Bennet building in the heart of Mo. Now it is up to us, our employees, and our guests to see how the journey unfolds. We live and breathe to create great experiences - especially for those closest to us.
