Brasserie 8622 is located in the beautiful Mo i Rana at Helgelandskysten in Northern Norway. The restaurant is perfectly balanced between the traditional French cuisine and “nord-norske” products, our warm culture and the Scandinavian flavour.

Team Brasserie 8622

Brasserie 8622 is an international concept comprising highly qualified and very experienced personnel from around the world. Our head chef, Andre Mårtensson-Larsson, has a fondness for seasonal ingredients and local producers, and has spent the last 12 years working at renowned restaurants in England, Sweden, and Portugal.

Our restaurant manager, Leonor, has in recent years led several teams and restaurants in both Sweden and Portugal, including at the Bib Gourmand-rated "Restaurante Saraiva in Lisbon." In addition to Leonor and Andre, our team includes Knut - responsible for events and rentals, Darius - our assistant head chef, Petter and Elias - chefs, and the waitstaff Kimberly and Sebastian.

We're hiring waiter/waitress

We're looking for a welcoming and service minded waiter/waitress with a love and passion for quality food and the "nord-norske" culture. Are you the one we are looking for?

  • You have minimum 2 years experience from the restaurant industry (or relevant experience)

Responsibilities & Mandates

Your main focus will be ensuring that all of our very special guests receive outstanding service and a memorable dining experience. The job consists of greeting our guests, making menu recommendations, answering questions, process orders, deliver food and drinks to our guests and process payments.

The right waiter/waitress uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this.

We're hiring chefs

We're hiring experienced chefs to be a part of our team. Do you have a passion for the french cuisine and are looking for something out of the ordinary? Look no further.

About you

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask
  • You have minimum 1+ year experience in a restaurant
  • You are service-minded
  • You are organized, detail oriented and reliable
  • You are energetic with a passion for doing a great job.

  • You have interest in the French and/or Scandinavian kitchen

Responsibilities & Mandates

  • Cook and performance dishes in a timely matter
  • Performing preparation duties such as rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruit and vegetables.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients, wrapping, date-labeling and storing food items.
  • Following guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control.
  • Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and request.
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation
  • Ensure that the kitchen and storage areas remain clean at all times.
